“"Hotelier der alten Schule" Ich kontaktierte das Hotel " Am Dönberg Horather Schanze in Wuppertal " Da ich am Mittwoch den 07.01.2025 in Wuppertal durch starken Schneefall festhing. Der Hotelier teilte mir mit, das Hotel sich nicht im Betrieb befand. Er würde für mich trotzdem ein Zimmer zur Verfügung stellen. Ich wählte das Hotel, da es sich in einer traumhaften Umgebung befindet u. im Schnee verzaubert wird. Ich wurde durch ein Zimmer im 80 Jahre Style empfangen. s. Bilder Das schöne am Hotel ist das vom Hotel, ein direkter Zugang zum Restaurant " AKROPOLIS " vorhanden ist. Dies ist ein griechisches Restaurant. Dort wird man von ein schönes Ambiente empfangen u. das Essen ist von sehr guter Qualität. Das schöne daran ist , sollte man durch zu viel Ouzo Schwierigkeiten die Treppen durch den Zugang zum Hotel haben, wurde ein Treppenlift verbaut. Spaß beiseite, ob der Treppenlift einsatzfähig ist, müsste man mit dem Hotelier klären. Wäre eine tolle Sache für Menschen mit Gehbehinderung. Mein Schlusszitat : Ich habe ein wunderschönen romantischen Abend in Wuppertal-Dönberg verbracht. Ich bedanke mich nochmals u. hoffe das ich die Dienstleistung von " Hotel Horather Schanze " u. " Restaurant AKROPOLIS " nochmals in Anspruch nehmen darf. Liebe Grüße Kurt Frank Schremmer”
“Gute Lage mit ebenfalls guten Parkmöglichkeiten. Das griechische Restaurant ist Spitze. Das Servicepersonal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer sind sauber und hell. Im Badezimmer fehlte eine Dusche, Badewanne war vorhanden. Besitzer ist ein sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Mensch. War auch flexibel beim Nach buchen des Zimmers.”
